New Media

Michael Payne has played a leading role at the forefront of the ‘New Media’ industry. As the internet, began to challenge traditional rights thinking in 2000, Michael Payne helped bring together over 1,000 media leaders from around the world, to discuss the future of the medium in a ground breaking conference staged in conjunction with the Wall St Journal.
The WSJ would go onto liken the conference to ‘the Congress of Vienna’ which carved up Europe after the Napoloenic Wars, as new and old media fought over the future of the industry. The conference soon became the catalyst to prick the ‘first’ internet bubble.
Michael Payne subsequently serve as Chairman of Crystal’s International Division – the world’s largest 3D Digital animation group, that pioneered digital graphic presentations in the Beijing and London Olympic Ceremonies, and to bring 3D innovative presetantions in the field of sports play.
